Reading: Public Art in Tulsa
The City of Tulsa has a long history of commissioning public artwork. Their percent for art program was probably the first in the state and had led to many wondeful projects (most recently the artwork in the new BOK Center). This article by Gretchen Collins from Art Focus Oklahoma on page 16 gives a nice overview of the works in the Tulsa public collection, a good inspiration for Oklahomans making public art!
