Furniture Made Out of Porcelain: Margaret Kinkeade
Exploring feminine and masculine roles in
traditional culture, Momentum Spotlight artist Margaret Kinkeade is creating a Shaker-style kitchen using
surprising materials. Her project includes a kitchen table and chairs made of
delicate porcelain juxtaposed with wall-hanging quilts made of plasma-cut
steel.
