Holiday Open Studios & Black Friday Art Sales

The shopping season is upon us. To help you avoid the insanity at the mall, we've gathered a list of Oklahoma artists and galleries who are offering holiday art markets and open studios. Enjoy your holiday shopping by buying local, handmade art.

City Arts Center

Annual Pottery Sale
Through December 23
The best way to begin your holiday shopping: with pottery handmade by City Arts Center instructors and students.  Great gifts at bargain prices!  All proceeds benefit the City Arts Center pottery program.
Deluxe Indie Craft Market, Oklahoma City 
December 11, 11 am-5 pm 
Centennial Building, Oklahoma State Fairgrounds, May Avenue north of I-40. 
Deluxe is an indie craft fair and community event with free admission in Oklahoma City, where unique artists show and sell their work to enthusiastic shoppers from all over the region. All items are handmade, no resellers are allowed. Community groups and nonprofits also table at Deluxe, meeting shoppers, recruiting volunteers and demonstrating their skills. At our show we will also be holding a fundraiser for ProjectOKC, as well as offering recruitment space for other nonprofits.

Holiday Art Market, Ardmore

Reception at both locations November 30, 6-9 in conjunction with the City’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The Holiday Art Market includes a variety of unique, one-of-a-kind gift items for sale including handmade ornaments, pottery, wood-turned items, charcoal drawings, small paintings, small sculpture, photo prints, hand-painted scarves, jewelry, pottery candles, handmade greeting cards & bookmarks, Red Canoe Coffee and much more! An exclusive line of special gift items are also available from Pretty Bird Designs! We are featuring the work of over 25 participating local artists! The 4th Annual Downtown Arts Market offers a festive, family-friendly atmosphere, including live music, a street chess championship, the Kidoodle’s Kids Arts Zone in addition to a wide variety of gifts, crafts, jewelry, art by local artists and downtown businesses. The December Market will be located inside of the Old Town Plaza building, 102 West Eufaula Street.  The Market is FREE and open to all ages.
