VisionMakers 2009 is on exhibit at Six11 Creative, 611 N Broadway in Oklahoma City. It will run through April 30 and is open Thursday-Saturday, noon-6pm.
romy owens: How long have you been an artist?
Virginia Harrison: Since I was born.
ro: What is your preferred media for your artwork, and why?
VH: Glass and Clay. Why? Because it is 3D.
ro: Is this your first year in Vision Makers?
VH: No. 1991 1993, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009
ro: How does an exhibition like Vision Makers affect your art and/or career?
VH: It is great to show with other artists working in 3D as well as the high craft.
ro: Who or what are your primary artistic influences?
VH: The Ocean , Sea, and Spirits.
ro: What challenges do you face in making art?
VH: What to Express that is important.
