(interview by romy owens.)

Q: What five words would you use to describe your art?
A: fun, funny, musical, melodrama, collaborative

Q: What do you create as an artist?
A: I create and produce theatre with live music, multi-media art, and some sort of puppetry.

Q: Do you have any other jobs in addition to being an artist?
A: Yes, my big important job is being a Mom. The other job was running a short-term rental Guest House and Creative Space. Both of these have only fueled my desire and drive to create and to help others.

A: YES, and I can't define it, but I know when I'm not looking that way.

Q: What is the best piece of advice you've been given to date?
A: "Lead with your heart." Josh Selig

Q: What are your dream projects right now?
A: The First one is to get the as yet, untitled, 2 Act, Musical Drama produced locally. Second, to create an affordable, innovative, Performing Artists Support Center and Performance Space for alternative theatre, dance, music & multi-disciplinary artists to come together to create, and share their art with each other and the community.

Q: What role do you think an artist has in society?
A: Artists help us interpret society and see society from a different perspective, or change it. And like Ghandi said, "we need to be the change we wish to see in the world. "
