We need to communicate early and frequently with our legislators about the importance of art in Oklahoma. Art and artists are an important economic force in our state, not to mention we add to the quality of life around the state. If we don't spread the word, who will?
The Oklahoma Arts Council funds arts projects statewide through matching grants that encourage community arts projects. OVAC receive important program funding that helps all our services for artists and the public.
