Plans and preparations continue on the new, exciting Tulsa Visual Arts Center that is scheduled to open in 2011. There will be exhibtion, education, and visiting artist programs in the great galleries, studios, and classrooms. The area is going to be arty and awesome. Living Arts moving to the Brady District and the Adkins Collection managed by Philbrook Museum will be next door. The Visual Arts Center is a project of the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa.
Artists in the Tulsa area who want to keep updated and meet other visual artists can join in the regular discussion. Kathy McRuiz is the director and I am sure she would be glad to add you to the email list.
