While I'm on the topic of artists getting paid... this is a provocative topic-- the NEA delved into their information gathered for the report on Artists in the Workforce study (incredibly important, check it out if you didn't catch on my earlier blog entry) to examine women artists.
Specifically this study finds that women artists make up close to half of artists nationally, earn less (suprise), are less likely to have have children than the general workforce, and more.
