The holiday season has many people thinking about how to give to the people and organizations they care about the most. Even during somewhat uncertain economic times, you can give generous gifts to your favorite charities and non-profits, without it costing anything.
Inspired by a list at http://givelist.wordpress.com, I thought I'd share some ideas for how to give without spending money. Check this blog every day from now until Christmas for a new giving idea!
Idea #1 - Volunteer your time. Arts organizations need all kinds of volunteers like docents, people to help with daily office tasks, help with events. Your time can often be more valuable than a cash donation!
